PATRICIA RIDGE BRADLEY

Patricia Ridge Bradley grew up on the open plains of northwestern Oklahoma in a small town called Enid. She excelled in fine art from elementary to high school, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis on drawing from Oklahoma State University. Later, she apprenticed with an advertising agency in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she learned design and illustration. Patricia founded Bradley Studios in Denver, Colorado, beginning a 35-year career as a graphic designer for many local and national clients, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

Patricia returned to fine art full-time, and works in charcoal, graphite, pastel, oil, egg tempera, watercolor and acrylic. She enjoys drawing and painting florals, portraits, landscapes, streetscapes, and western themes in a representational style. Her technique ranges from very loose and spontaneous to meticulously rendered.

Patricia teaches classes and workshops in graphite, charcoal, oils, soft pastels and acrylics for beginning to advanced students. She is in demand to demonstrate and speak to arts organizations, and donates artwork to good causes. She and her husband reside in northeast Oklahoma, and in northeast New Mexico.
